The canopy on the Undercover gazebo is made of extremely rugged 600 dernier polyester. This type of polyester blocks 99% of all UV rays and is guaranteed not to tear or break during normal use. It is also fire resistant. This means that a few campfire sparks or an errant firecracker won’t start it on fire. However, you should still be careful not to let your gazebo canopy come in constant contact with an open flame as fire resistant does not mean fire proof. The polyester is also water resistant. You should be nice and dry during a drizzle or small shower. After a deluge, however, you will probably find the interior of your Undercover gazebo a little damp.
